Best Crops to Start with in Facebooks Farm Town

The question comes up often, what strategy do I employ to move up the fastest in Farm Town? The answer is undeniable! If you are willing to stick it out and put the time in, this crop can not only be profitable to you in terms of experience points but also terms of harvest at the market. Any newbie to the game of Farm Town needs to know which one to stick to and work that one crop.

What is the crop to plant in Farm Town? The best crop for a starting user is by far raspberries, and here is why: (1) Raspberries only have a two hour turnover, this allows you to plant and harvest them several times a day. (2) Each time you plow and plant, you will gain experience from this. By doing this multiple times per day, you maximize the experience gained. (3) Raspberries have the highest rate of coins per hour. If you look at the Farm Town Chart below, you will see this to be true.

The only downside to this is that you have to put in work, and that means time spent. But, if you are willing to put in the time and the effort, raspberries are the best bet for newbies starting out in Facebook's Farmtown.

Nice chart...it's very helpful! Not to be a pain but the other crops are in order, first by number of days, then by profit. For some reason, coffee and sunflower do not follow the pattern. If they were switched, the pattern would be correct. It just makes it a bit more confusing.

Good luck in planting/harvesting/plowing raspberries 12 times a day or grapes 6 times a day. That means you have to be up 24 hours a day.

6 crops of raspberries and 3 crops of grapes is more realistic, and that's really still pushing it. At that rate, grapes are only about as profitable as sunflowers. Raspberries still have a good profit rate, IF you can keep up without letting the raspberries die.
